OpenStack

Private clouds that stay current. We build OpenStack the way the community does, so you can keep upgrading long after we've gone.

OpenStack is mature, capable and — when deployed well — remarkably boring to operate. Getting there means making the right choices early and keeping the deployment close to upstream, so every new release is an upgrade rather than a migration.

How we approach it

We deploy with Kolla-Ansible and other community-maintained tooling, configured in code and kept under version control. No proprietary installer, no custom distribution: the same deployment method used and tested by the community every day.

Upgrades are planned, rehearsed and gated in CI before they touch production. For clouds that have fallen behind, we plan a safe path through the intermediate releases and fix whatever breaks along the way — upstream.

Where we help

  • New clouds — sizing, network design, storage choices and a deployment you can reproduce.
  • Existing clouds — upgrades, performance work, consolidation and operational hardening.
  • Hard problems — the bug nobody else can reproduce, the service that falls over under load, the patch that needs to land in three projects at once.

Have an infrastructure problem worth solving properly?

Tell us what you're running and where it hurts. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
